Today marks the day the man who built Singapore left us for a better place. Mr Lee Kuan Yew has gave Singapore many things and taught as many more. His great foresight has allowed us to progress from a 3rd world country to a 1st world country that we Singaporeans are proud to call our home. it is safe to say that if it weren't for him leading the pioneer government and pioneering generations we won't be what we are today. Mr Lee has been a noble man who seek no fame, money or power when fighting for a better Singapore for us. He has given us higher education as well as a stable country to live in. Yes we often complain that Singapore is a bad place to live in, this sucks that sucks but we cant deny that in the end it is a place we can safely call home. Many citizens are grateful and thankful for all that he has done. He has dedicated his life for the upbringing of Singapore and it is something to look up to, being able to dedicated to one thing and being able to keep at it to the very end. It is a great loss for Singapore to lose this great man. I aspire to learn and follow in his footsteps. we have always be in his shadows while he protected us and now that he has left for a better place, it is our turn as the budding generation to rise and fight for a better future. Mr Lee Kuan Yew it has been an honor to be in your care and i hope you find peace on the other side.
